presentation at the nihr School for Social cARE research CONFEreNCE

We are delighted to share that we recently presented our research at the NIHR School for Social Care Research Conference. Ruth Naughton-Doe and Jayde Edwards delivered a 6 minute lightening talk sharing reflections on the research so far.

We reported on the early findings from our review, including that there is very little research exploring LGBTQ+ parents’ experiences of support, and that there is a lot of negative literature exploring preventing young parenthood. We argued there needs to be more focus on supporting young parents.
